What's open and closed Easter Weekend

  • Upper Canada Mall (Closed on Sunday only)

Open on Good Friday and Easter Sunday

  • Parks
  • Movie theatres

Closed on Easter Monday

  • Schools
  • Government officers
  • Libraries

Transit service

  • Barrie: No transit service on Good Friday of Easter Sunday, Regular transit service Easter Monday
  • Orillia: No transit service on Good Friday, Easter Sunday
  • Midland: No transit service on Good Friday and Easter Monday
  • York Region: Operating on holiday/Sunday schedule, Easter Monday – regular weekday schedule
