Aggravated assault charges withdrawn against 3 youth centre employees

Three staff members of a youth crisis and intervention centre had their aggravated assault charges withdrawn after a resident was injured in 2019.

On Aug. 23, an altercation reportedly occurred between a female minor and staff members at the Yellowhead Youth Centre.

The girl was left with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The charges were withdrawn in April 2021.
